Amber (Eckert) Hooke is a musician, teacher, and a daughter of Christ. She received her Bachelor of Music from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in 2018 where she majored in Violin Performance, with a secondary in piano, and minored in English Writing. At Baldwin Wallace, she studied violin with Dr. Julian Ross and piano with Dr. James Hirt.

Amber frequently performs at various gigs including wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours, musicals, nursing homes, professional dinners, funerals and more. She is a substitute violinist for the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra and Johnstown Symphony Orchestra.

Amber is currently on the worship team at Refuge Church in Manor, PA. She previously played on the worship team at Renew Communities in Berea, Ohio and recorded a music video with the worship leaders there, Chris and Bethany Solyntjes. Amber was the founder and student leader of the artist ministry as part of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) at Baldwin Wallace where she guided artists in their faith and helped them discover how their art and faith coincide. Presently, she is the founder of Rhythmic Foundations at Refuge Church where she helps older youth discover the connection between art and faith. 

Amber was the owner of Miss Amber’s Music Studio in North Huntingdon, PA from 2018-2023 where she taught violin and piano private lessons. Her students performed in community service events and recitals. She also teaches at Norwin Summer Music camps.

Married in 2018, Amber lives with her husband, Jesse, and her 11 year old son. Amber and Jesse became foster parents in 2022 and adopted their son the same year. They are looking forward to welcoming more children into their home in the near future. Amber and her family love to travel, discover new coffee shops and restaurants and spend time with friends and family.

Art, love, faith and community are at the core of Amber's personal and professional being. Whether it's through her music, her teaching or her parenting, Amber longs to convey these values to bring hope and light to the world around her.
